- Google OAuth Account Information: When you choose to sign in using your Google Account, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture avatar via Google OAuth. We do not receive or store your Google account password.
- Email & Password: When you register directly with an email address, your password is securely hashed and managed through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
- Code and Compilation Data: Source code, input streams, and compilation outputs submitted to our compiler are processed in sandboxed environments and saved to your compilation history and bug tracker so you can review your learning progress.
- Technical & Log Data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps used strictly for rate limiting, DDoS protection, and debugging system errors.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to provide and improve the SmartCompiler experience:
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your active session.
- To compile and execute your code safely inside isolated containers.
- To generate AI explanations, syntax hints, and personalized learning feedback.
- To store your personal compilation history, bug notes, and curriculum progress.
- To detect and prevent malicious activities, unauthorized access, or abusive execution loops.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
Limited Use Disclosure: SmartCompiler's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only request standard profile permissions (name, email, profile photo) strictly for user authentication and account identification.
- We do not sell, rent, license, or trade Google user data to any third parties.
- We do not use or transfer Google user data for serving advertisements, retargeting, or data brokering.
- We do not allow humans to read your private data unless you have given explicit consent, it is needed for security purposes, or it is required to comply with applicable laws.
5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We only share necessary operational data with trusted infrastructure providers required to operate our service:
- Supabase: Cloud database and authentication infrastructure.
- AI Inference Providers (Groq / OpenRouter): For generating contextual code analysis, hints, and error explanations.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your user data and code history only for as long as your account remains active. You have full ownership of your data.
If you wish to delete your account, compilation history, or any personal data associated with your profile, you can submit a deletion request at any time by emailing us at gampashashank30@gmail.com. Upon receipt, your account and associated records will be permanently deleted from our database within 30 days.

We implement industry-standard security practices, including TLS/HTTPS encryption, sandboxed execution containers, secure HTTP-only session tokens, and strict Content Security Policies (CSP) to protect your information from unauthorized access.
